Peets has the VERY best tasting coffee in the entire world. Seriously. I now reside in IL in the country where there is NO decent coffee except one expresso type at WalMart Starbucks. Gah! One cannot drink only one type of coffee especially substandard coffee for long. You just quit drinking such vile stuff. I have become so anguished about this matter I am ordering some Petes coffee online. I don't care what it costs. Well actually I do but anyway the cheaper Java Arabicas at Petes are very worth it. Ah the Maduro even! If one could afford it the best Arabian coffee Petes sells is astonishing like on a par with fine ginseng (we realize they are two different things entirely but similarly a higher quality has an enhanced effect). The Arabian is excellent for doing special projects thinking creating. Living for years in the Bay Area I always supplied my house with Petes. It IS a staple of life. Or one of life's wonderful luxuries (if coffee is important to you agrees wi yo u lol). Very few can roast like Petes. Dunno why. I think they shop for special crops too.
